The Nokia E51 offers integration with a wide range of business e-mail solutions, including Nokia Intellisync Wireless E-mail and Mail for Exchange to communicate with Microsoft Exchange Server. A dedicated e-mail key on the front cover, indicator light for new e-mail and a preview window to the latest e-mail on the home screen aims to improve the simplicity of e-mail management. Sporting Wi-Fi connectivity, the E51 connects to increasingly popular Wi-Fi hotspots, and a free VoIP application enables users to make and receive less expensive calls from their mobile phone. In addition, the E51 supports Quad-band GSM/EDGE and 3.6 Mbps HSDPA networks. The latter supports 850/2100 MHz bands, but not the 1900 MHz band required for accessing AT&T's HSDPA network. The Nokia E51 also provides a FM radio, music and multimedia players, 2-megapixel camera and a Nokia browser serving as the gateway to a variety of Internet services. The latter includes interoperability with Windows Live services as well as Yahoo Go!WidSets.
